\nOne board member was absent.
\nFour guests were in attendance.
\nMeeting was called to order at 6:03 pm.
\nMotion was made to approve the August 7, 2018 meeting minutes. It was approved.
\nRace Night Review. Someone collapsed in the grandstand. A comment was made to us about when the
\nsafety crew is working on someone no matter where that the races be red flagged. Its hard to check
\nvitals while the races are going on. We will make sure that the races get stopped. Paramedic with the
\nambulance was not friendly. A complaint was made. The heat races were good. The first feature was
\ngood then the track started getting dusty. We stopped the Mod feature due to safety concerns.
\nDiscussion on when to race the makeup Mod feature. Motion was made to run last week\u2019s Mod feature
\nfirst this Sunday with the starting time of 6:00 pm. It was restart from the beginning and they will get 3-5
\nhot laps before the race starts. Motion was approved. Races this Sunday will start at 6:00 pm. We will
\nsend out a rainout text about it and post it on Facebook also.
\nWe replaced 12 shanks on the cultivator and we replaced some points. We also need to work on the
\nharrow also.
\nBootleggers is this weekend\u2019s sponsor. Circle is bringing down 2 dumpsters also.
\nSunday attendance was.
\nSlingshots and Go-karts will run during Motor Magic. We will be introducing the Hall of Fame inductees
\non Saturday of Motor Magic.
\nWe will be ordering Championship shirts for the banquet.
\nDiscussion on making unique shirts for the banquet for each class. There will be only so many made and
\nthat will be the only place to get them also. Looking into them.
\nDiscussion on getting a tractor with a 3 point that can run everything we need it to run. Looking at
\noptions.
