One board member was absent.
Six guests were in attendance.
Meeting was called to order at 7:02 pm.
Motion was made to approve the December 10, 2018 meeting minutes. It was approved.
Car show. We have 14 registered cars so far. Set up time will start at 9:00 am. Looking for about 30-40
classic cars to come. Weather will be the big factor for the weekend if they come or not. We have a few
vendors lined up as of now. Posters will be out shortly. Working on awards also. Monster Truck show
will be Saturday also. They have 2 shows. We can start selling memberships now. Seminars are set up for
Saturday as well.
Discussion on having the NOSA Sprints race here. The other weekend they want won\u2019t work. Sprints will
be here Motor Magic weekend only.
Raffle. Motion was made to raffle off a pit lift and 3 RC cars. It was approved. We are getting the permit
and will have the tickets available to purchase soon.
Motion was made to not do the mall show. It was approved. We will plan a kids day event somewhere
though.
Hall of Fame nominating committee will be meeting soon. Rick agreed to be a part of it.
Bills were presented and paid.
Adam\u2019s Contract. We are looking over it for the 2019 season. We had some of the best commercials out
there last year. He is looking into what can be done differently for sponsorships. Wondering about
adding an extra person to help him on Sunday\u2019s. Looking into job duties for that person.
Motion was made to adjourn.
