The May 28, 2024 minutes were presented and accepted as written by motion.

Treasurer’s Report

The Treasurer’s Report was presented for discussion and review. Motion and second to approve/pay the bills. Motion carried.

Business to Discuss 

1. Kadi Ruby attended the meeting to update the board on the progress of the Hall of Fame wall. The quote for the wall came in at $19,560 plus $9,600 for an additional enclosed glass display case on each side of the wall. Final approval will be needed from NDSF. The goal is to start the work sometime in August. The 2024 yearbooks are available for sale at the souvenir trailer. The black and white copies are $10 and color copies are $25. Hall of Fame induction will be scheduled for Wednesday, July 17th.
2. The slingshot purse will be paid out over five nights based on $40 for each car. A separate drivers slingshot meeting will be held after the main drivers meeting. Wayne Johnson will be point of contact.
3. Mod Tour payouts will be sent to our accountant.
4. 100 Mod Tour t-shirts have been ordered and will be sold for $25 each.
5. Track needs to be cleaned up prior to championship night. The fence needs to be touched up, weeds taken care of and signs pressure washed. This is dependent on the weather.
6. We are having issues with the ipads not charging and card readers not syncing up to the ipads. New ipads and card readers will be purchased so that we have them for the remaining season.

The next Executive Board meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, July 2, 2024 at 7:00 pm at the Clarion.
