Minutes: The June 9, 2026 meeting minutes were presented and motioned with second to accept as written. Motion carried by voice vote.

Reports from Standing Committees:
- Hall of Fame (Kadi Ruby) – Yearbooks were purchased. Nominee bios are being finalized for posting and fan vote will start soon.
- Membership (Chris) – Discussed recommendations from committee members on memberships to approve. Motion with second made to:
- Refer for further investigation and consideration: Angela Dean, Teri McDaniels, & Kia Vang;
- Deny Nicol Hanna and Nicholas Baumgartner’s memberships due to nonpayment; and,
- Approve the following memberships: Derek Haman, Clint Patterson, Colby Patterson, Scott Zurcher, Aric Arends, Troy Haxton, Trenton Erven, Cory Williams, Bennett Castleman, Birk Castleman, Brent Castleman, JR Herrera, & Payce Herrera.
Motion carried by voice vote.
- 11 missing memberships – Motion with second to approve missing membership #s: 142, 143, 144, 146, 147, 149, 156, 157, 158, 162, 163, 165, 168, & 170. Motion carried by voice vote.
- Governance (Holly) – Brian Brown has agreed to be on the committee.
Treasurer’s Report: The Treasurer’s Report was presented for discussion and review. Motion with second to approve/pay the bills. Motion carried by voice vote.
Race Weekend Recap (6/14, 6/21, 6/28):
- P&Ls for 6/14, 6/21, and 6/28 were provided and reviewed.
- Many compliments on the Dunk Tank, DJ, and Pork Feed/food on 6/28.
- Discussed the need to have more doors open for exiting during large events, and also need to make sure the Fairground exits (north gate) is open more in advance.
Unfinished Business:
- Dakota Classic Modified Tour (July 5, 2026): Identified tech inspector, pit steward, and volunteer for Smoker’s Gate. Tickets are $20/$18/$10, and will not be sold at Enerbase. Tshirts were ordered.
- WoO Sprints (August 30, 2026): Butler Cornhole tournament will occur during Sprints.
- Miscellaneous:
- Options were discussed about alternatives to making up the rainout WOO Late Model Modified Feature. Motion with second to pay all 25 modifieds last place pay of $130. Motion carried by voice vote.
- Volunteers Needed for the following: 4th of July fireworks set up at 10am, Track tear down after DCMT, and NDSF Concert Volunteering: need 20 volunteers for 7/19 & 7/23 (9 signed up on Sunday, 6 signed up on Thursday).
New Business:
- State Fair Parade: Holly will take the lead.
