January 8, 2018 Board Meeting Minutes Sleep Inn
One board member was absent.
Four guests were in attendance.
Meeting was called to order at 7:00 pm.
Motion was made to approve the December 11, 2017 meeting minutes. It was approved.
Discussion on taxes and having someone help out with them.
Discussion on Hall of Fame. Discussion on how many years you should be racing or helping out before
being able to be inducted. Motion was made to approve the Nodak Hall of Fame Nomination and
Induction Process with adding the statement If a volunteer has volunteered for 30+ years then they do
not need to be retired. It was approved.
Discussion on the schedule. Finalizing everything on it. All classes have 12 points nights.
Wild about Wheels. We have 22 booths right now for the show. Finishing up the poster for it. Discussion
on security for show. We are adding an extra room this year.
Discussion on what to do for the raffle. Motion was made to do a Custom race suit from Velocita. We
are selling 100 tickets for $50 a piece. It was approved. We are going to do the drawing Friday the 9th on
Facebook live.
Discussion on merchandise. We are looking at what we are going to get for 2018.
Discussion on new ticketing system for this year. Looking at our options.
Motion was made to sell the old tractor to Meyers Tractor Salvage for $3,000. It was approved.
Motion was made to adjourn.
Meeting adjourned at 10:05 pm.
