Meeting Minutes

August 10, 2021 – Board Meeting Sleep Inn

All but one board member was in attendance along with 9 guests.

A motion was made to approve the minutes from the previous board meeting. The motion was seconded and approved by the board.

Financials were discussed and reports were reviewed. A motion was made to approve payment of the presented bills. The motion was seconded and approved by the board.

Multiple guests were in attendance to discuss the previous race night, the upcoming Hall of Fame induction(s), etc.

A motion was made to move the meeting to executive removing anyone present that was not a board member. The Hobby stock feature from the previous race night was discussed in depth between board members. After discussion, a motion was made to suspend and probate the driver of the 70 Hobby Stock, Caden Appelt. His driving in the hobby stock feature was deemed dangerous by the board of directors. The motion stated that Mr. Appelt be suspended for (3) race nights. He is invited back to race Motor Magic weekend but will remain on probation. Any violations (questionable driving) will extend the suspension to the end of the season. This motion was seconded and approved by the board.

A motion was made at 9:57pm to adjourn the meeting. The motion was seconded and approved by the board. The next meeting will be held at the Sleep Inn at 7:00pm on Tuesday August 17th, 2021.
