The June 13, 2023 minutes were presented and accepted as written by motion.

Treasurer’s Report

The Treasurer’s Report was presented for discussion and review. Motion and uberHubersecond. Motion carried.  

Old Business

1. Race Recap.
   • Question was raised with regard to a driver that was a possible opossum situation. This will be policed closely going forward.
   • There are also drivers with non-working transponders. This will be addressed at the drivers meeting.
   • Pump will be checked as the techs were indicating it wasn’t working right.
   • Received a call from with good feedback from the Legends drivers after the Sunday race.

New Business

1. Group ticket sales will be offered. A minimum of 30 tickets need to be purchased at a price of $10/ticket.
2. Mod Tour adult tickets are $20, senior/military tickets will be $18, kids will remain at $5.
3. A request has been presented to the club to purchase a 1200 pound capacity lawn cart to assist with taking down/putting up the fence before and after the state fair. Motion and second to purchase the cart. Motion carried.
4. The bobcat will need to be rented from July 9th-13th.
5. Motion and second to purchase parts needed to repair/maintain Motion carried.
6. It has been confirmed that the Minot AFB Honor Guard will present colors at the July 9th race along with the anthem soloist.
7. The Mod Tour is scheduled for Sunday, July 9. Contract details were reviewed to ensure all is ready for the tour.

The next Executive Board meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, July 11, 2023 at 7:00 pm at the Clarion.

The May 23, 2023 minutes were presented and accepted as written by motion.

Treasurer’s Report

The Treasurer’s Report was presented for discussion and review. Motion and second to pay the bills. Motion carried.  

Old Business

1. Race Night Recap

• Internet connectivity is now working.
• Sunday night races were called after a rain storm came through. Rain checks were given out. One heat race and feature races were run on Monday night along with the topless program.    

New Business

1. A proof of the 2023 Yearbook was reviewed and is ready to be sent to the printers.
2. Jeff Barta would like to take the lead on a drivers meet and greet. The board will support this.
3. A board member was approached by two techs from Canada to offer their services. We are covered for teching for now but will keep them in mind should we need services in the future.
4. The board was approached by a driver with regard to heat counts. The concern was the heats having too many cars running before the feature. Heats will be run as normal.
5. The club was contacted by a business owner who would like to buy a large number of tickets for his employees. The board agreed to offer pricing at $10/tickets for 50 tickets or more.
6. Motion and second to support the passing of the helmet at the next race.
7. Wages were reviewed. Motion and second to approve one wage increase. Motion carried.

The May 30, 2023 minutes were presented and accepted as written by motion.

Treasurer’s Report

The Treasurer’s Report was presented for discussion and review. Motion and seconduberHuber to pay the bills. Motion carried.  

Old Business

None.

New Business

1. The board was informed that there was some missing tech equipment. However, after discussion and doing an inventory, all equipment has been accounted for.
2. After the June 11^th races, most of the color yearbooks were sold. There are several copies of the 2023 black & white copies. We will push to sell those.
3. The board was asked for flex tickets for a golf tournament in Bowbells. Tickets were provided.
4. There is a need for ticket sellers for the next few races. Three board members will reach out to others for availability.
5. The same amount of tour shirts will be ordered as in years past.
6. There was an incident in the claim area involving a couple of drivers with pushing that escalated into a shouting match. The board is aware of this incident. Bruce will also address decorum at the at the drivers meeting on Sunday.
7. The track prep is ongoing and is prepped based on the weather/temperature conditions.
8. The monster truck show needed to have ticket sellers/takers and have reached out to Nodak. Our ticket sellers will be on hand on Saturday.
9. Peter and Brenda Fedyk would like to display their banner on Saturday night of Motor Magic along with a $2000 purse to be divided among the classes. The board will support this memorial.
10. The sport mods feature went caution free. As discussed in an earlier meeting, the drivers of this class will not have to pay the pit fee the following week their class races, which is June 18^th.
