August 21, 2018 Board Meeting Sleep Inn
One board member was absent.
Three guests were in attendance.
Meeting was called to order at 7:02 pm.
Motion was made to approve the August 14, 2018 meeting minutes. It was approved.
Race Night Review. The makeup feature went over well. Discussion on changing the depth of the
cultivator. Wondering if it is going to deep and creating too big of chunks to be packed in. Rest of the
night racing went good. Track had 2 grooves most of the night.
Dumpster racing was funny. It went over well.
Motor Magic. Slingshots want to run the big track. Enduro is Friday. It starts at 7:00 pm. Purse will be the
same for Motor Magic as last year. Its IMCA rules and non sanctioned. We start at 5:00 both race nights.
Sprints are only running on Sunday. Discussion on selling a ticket package for the weekend online. We
are going to sell both nights for $25 online only.
Over the Edge. Bob is going for sure. We got 2 more spots and drew names out of a hat. Chris Seekings
and Shawn Nostdahl are doing it also.
Discussion on having Ron Hornaday come up for the banquet. Looking into details of having him come
up. It would be something different.
Bills were presented and paid.
Sunday attendance was 970.

August 14, 2018 Board Meeting Sleep Inn
One board member was absent.
Four guests were in attendance.
Meeting was called to order at 6:03 pm.
Motion was made to approve the August 7, 2018 meeting minutes. It was approved.
Race Night Review. Someone collapsed in the grandstand. A comment was made to us about when the
safety crew is working on someone no matter where that the races be red flagged. Its hard to check
vitals while the races are going on. We will make sure that the races get stopped. Paramedic with the
ambulance was not friendly. A complaint was made. The heat races were good. The first feature was
good then the track started getting dusty. We stopped the Mod feature due to safety concerns.
Discussion on when to race the makeup Mod feature. Motion was made to run last week’s Mod feature
first this Sunday with the starting time of 6:00 pm. It was restart from the beginning and they will get 3-5
hot laps before the race starts. Motion was approved. Races this Sunday will start at 6:00 pm. We will
send out a rainout text about it and post it on Facebook also.
We replaced 12 shanks on the cultivator and we replaced some points. We also need to work on the
harrow also.
Bootleggers is this weekend’s sponsor. Circle is bringing down 2 dumpsters also.
Sunday attendance was.
Slingshots and Go-karts will run during Motor Magic. We will be introducing the Hall of Fame inductees
on Saturday of Motor Magic.
We will be ordering Championship shirts for the banquet.
Discussion on making unique shirts for the banquet for each class. There will be only so many made and
that will be the only place to get them also. Looking into them.
Discussion on getting a tractor with a 3 point that can run everything we need it to run. Looking at
options.

August 7, 2018 Board Meeting Sleep Inn
All board members were present.
Three guests were in attendance.
Meeting was called to order at 7:03 pm.
Motion was made to approve the August 2, 2018 meeting minutes. It was approved.
Sunday attendance was 1376.
We have sponsors lined up for the rest of the season. Late Models were happy. They would like to come
back next year.
Discussion on breaking up Adam’s job into 2 separate positions. One who just gets sponsorships and the
other who runs the races on race days. We are looking in to it.
Discussion on the porta potties. We are still discussing what is going to happen.
Race Night Review. Everything went well. More volunteers would be helpful.
Bud Light truck has no pump right now.
Homesteaders is catering the banquet.
Discussion on MC and speaker for the banquet. Looking in to some options.
Bills were presented and paid.

August 2, 2018 Board Meeting At the Track
All board members were present.
No guests were in attendance.
Meeting was called to order at 7:17 pm.
Motion was made to approve the July 17, 2018 meeting minutes. It was approved.
Discussion on the Late Models. They would like their feature to be no later then 9:30. We will know the
order of events on Sunday after everyone has checked in.
Sign Trailer needs a new wheel and tire. We are going to replace both of them.
Discussion on a box blade. It would help make the track more level. Looking into getting one.
Porta Potties. There have been some things found in the toilets. Discussion on a possible curfew or
putting locks on the toilets. Still discussing what is going to happen.
Motor Magic. IMCA rules.
Schatz Crossroads is the sponsor on Sunday.
August 12th is YWCA.
August 19th is Bootleggers.
Bills were presented and paid.

July 17, 2018 Board Meeting Sleep Inn
All board members were present.
One guest was in attendance.
Meeting was called to order at 7:05 pm.
Motion was made to approve the June 26, 2018 meeting minutes. It was approved.
Tour. We made money that night. Attendance was 1,675.
July 4th attendance was 1,501. Fireworks were very good.
July 1st attendance was 744.
Fair Enduro. We have a plan for it. Wall going back in Monday morning. Posting on Facebook about
helpers.
Discussion on having Usac midgets here next year sometime. We are looking into it.
August 5th is Turn Nodak Pink night and Late Model night.
August 19th we are planning a back to school night.
August 12th we are teaming up with YWCA for their Going over the edge day.

June 5, 2018 Board Meeting Sleep Inn
One board member was absent.
Four guests were in attendance.
Meeting was called to order at 7:02 pm.
Motion was made to approve the May 22, 2018 meeting minutes. It was approved.
Race Night Review. Track was good on Sunday not dusty.
Motion was made to fine Brady Bjella $100 for his pitmen coming onto the track during the May 27,
2018 race. Motion carried.
Porta Potties. We need to respect them. Nothing gets thrown in them. If we don’t then they will take
them back.
Discussion about having a curfew on double header weekends.
Discussion on the hobby dash. We will run it this weekend.
Went over the Outlaw contract. We need push trucks and an hydraulic boom wrecker.
This week’s sponsor is Tri-N-Propane.
Attendance: Sunday of Memorial weekend was 1289. Monday was 708. Sunday June 3rd was 868.
Turn Nodak Pink night is scheduled for August 5th. They are doing shirts again also.
