The May 21, 2024 minutes were presented and accepted as written by motion. Motion carried.

Treasurer’s Report

The Treasurer’s Report was presented for discussion and review. Motion and second to approve/pay the bills. Motion carried.

Business to Discuss 

1. Minot Fireworks Association attended the meeting to discuss the partnership between the Minot Fireworks Association and Nodak Speedway. Motion and second to donate $5000 to the Minot Fireworks Association. Motion carried.
2. Sunday’s race was cancelled due to heavy rains and rain checks were issued to be used at any future race. The Pit Party in the Dirt was still held. Monday’s race went on as scheduled and the crowds were good.
3. Drivers were reminded that they are to stay with their car should there be any accidents during their race. This is for their safety as well as the safety of the rescue crew.
4. The same goes for crew members. Crew members are to stay off the track. Violations will result in a fine imposed on the driver of the pit crew. This was the case on Monday night. Motion and second to levy a fine of $250 against the driver of the car for the pit crew violation. Motion carried.
5. Sponsorship list was reviewed.
6. Points sheets will be updated weekly and car numbers will be added along side the drivers’ name.

Next Meeting

The next Executive Board meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, June 18, 2024 at 7:00 pm at the Clarion.
