Meeting Minutes

Between telephone conference and in-person, all board members were present.
There were (3) guests in attendance.
The meeting was called to order at 7:00pm.
A motion was made to approve the minutes from the June 2nd, 2020 board meeting. The motion was seconded and was approved by the board.
The Hall of Fame nominee/inductee voting was discussed. A motion was made for each voting member receive (3) votes. It was seconded and the motion passed the board of directors.
The bills were presented to the board and approved to be paid.
The previous race night was discussed.
The Nodak Speedway has been added to the Dakota Classic Mod Tour for Sunday, July 12th .
This Sunday, there will be Power Wheel Races.
Next Sunday, there will be Wingless Sprints.
A motion was made to adjourn, it was seconded and approved. The meeting was adjourned at 9:08pm.
Space permitting, the next meeting will be held at the Sleep Inn on Tuesday June 16th, 2020 at 7:00pm.

All board members were present, and one guest was in attendance during our conference call board meeting.
The meeting was called to order at 7:00pm.
A motion was made to approve the minutes from the May 26th, 2020 board meeting. The motion was seconded and approved by the board.
The previous Sunday’s race night was discussed.
Bills were presented to the board and approved to be paid.
Children’s Season Grandstand Passes will be for sale for $60 each. These include 18 punches as do the Adult Season Grandstand Passes.
The race night discussion included a conversation of an incident where an attempt was made by a driver to enter the claim area immediately after the race where a miscommunication with the track crew occurred, and he left the claim area. However, the driver did not make any stops and made their way to the claim area for the second time to complete the process. A motion was made for driver Brad King to receive his 5th place finishing position. The motion was seconded
and voted on. Two opposed the motion and the motion passed the board.
A motion was made for a 50/50 ticket raffle to be held in the pits on the upcoming race nights.
The motion was seconded and approved by the board.
A motion was made at 8:42pm to adjourn the meeting. It was seconded and approved by the board.
The next meeting will be held Tuesday, June 9th, 2020 at 7pm with the location to be determined.

All board members were present.
The meeting was called to order at 7:00pm.
A motion was made to approve the minutes from the May 18th, 2020 board meeting. The motion was seconded and approved by the board.
The upcoming race day and it’s plans, guidelines, etc. were discussed by the board.
A motion was made to add July 19th and July 26th to our schedule for race days. This motion was seconded and approved by the board with one opposed. The classes to race will be determined at a later date.
A motion was made to adjourn the meeting. It was seconded and approved by the board. The meeting adjourned at 8:58pm.
The next meeting’s time and place will be decided at a later time.

The meeting was called to order at 7:05pm.
A motion was made to approve the minutes from the May 11th, 2020 board meeting. It was seconded and approved by the board.
A motion was made to pay a bill presented to the board. The motion was seconded and approved by the board.
Our ticket takers/volunteers list was discussed. We are interested in a flag person or persons.
We may be in need of tech inspectors as well as ticket takers for the season.
It has been brought to our attention that a debris fence to the catwalk needs to be installed.
A previous decision made has held and opening night will be May 31st, 2020 at 7pm. We will be hosting a practice day on May 24th, 2020 from 12-6pm with a $20 entry fee ages 8 and up.
A new nightly purse was proposed to the board and a motion was made to approve it. The motion was seconded and the 2020 season purse for regular race nights was approved by the board.
A motion was made to adjourn the meeting, it was seconded and approved by the board. The meeting adjourned at 9:07pm.
Again, our next board meeting’s date and location will be determined at a later time.

We discussed our scheduling plans. As of now, nothing has changed. May 10th and 17th will be cancelled.
