MEETING MINUTES 4/6/2026

Present: Rick Huber, Chris Tuchscherer, Holly Johnson, Kelly Duchsherer, Robby Rosselli, Drew Christianson, and Wayne Johnson. Meeting called to order at 7:05pm.

Guests: Becky Medler

Minutes: The March 31, 2026 meeting minutes were presented and motioned with second to accept as revised. All in favor. Motion carried. 

Treasurer’s Report: The Treasurer’s Report was presented for discussion and review. Motion with second to approve/pay the bills. All in favor. Motion carried. 

Business:  

2026 Annual Budget was presented and reviewed. Credit card processing fees were discussed. Unanimous agreement to pass along credit card processing fees to the customer. Motion with second to approve the 2026 Annual Budget. All in favor. Motion carried. 

Volunteer Meeting set for 4/19/2026 at 1:00pm at Pizza Ranch. Pit trailer volunteers were discussed. Rick will call Pizza Ranch to reserve the room. 

Race Operations with having a Race Director was discussed. 

Update on Radios: American Electronics said they know that we need them by April 26th, and are not finished yet, but working on them. 

Ticket Prices: 

  • All kids tickets and pit passes for kids will have the same age ranges:
    • 5 & Under (Free),
    • Kids Tickets are ages 6-12 in both grandstand and pits, 
    • Ages 13+ for grandstand pit pass. 
  • Any and all drivers, including slingshot drivers, will pay full price for their pit pass even if they are ages 6-12. 
  • Ticket prices for DCMT will be the same as last year.

MyRacePass events created for 2026. Order of Events discussed. 

Broadcast/DarnTV: contacted Brandon Beeter via phone. Regular broadcasts will be priced at $29.99. Specials will be $34.99. No season pass for Nodak Speedway. Announcing was also discussed.

ATV Permits were discussed. Motion with second to nix (remove) the permit requirement. All in favor. Motion carried. 

Next Meeting: The next board meeting is Tuesday, April 14th at 7:00pm at Staybridge Suites.
