Treasurer’s Report
The Treasurer’s Report was presented for discussion and review. A motion and second by Robby to approve pending bills. Motion carried.

Old Business
Business radio licensing needs to be renewed prior to May 2023. Brandon will call on this to confirm the number of radio frequencies prior to making payment.
Catwalk is now completely finished. We will need to ensure that people stay off of the stairs as this is a safety issue.

New Business
Race night recap.
Over all, the show went well despite the Hobby Feature going long due to numerous yellow flags. The Hobby Stock King of the Hill went over well. The qualifying leading up to the King of the Hill race went longer than anticipated.
We were very short handed but everyone worked together to cover areas of need.

Currently, the catwalk is insured for $40,000. If we increase the insurance to $60,000, the annual premium would be $1,500. To insure the catwalk for $100,000, the annual premium would be $2,500. The premium has been paid for this year and the board will continue this discussion next year.

Spoke to North Country Mercantile about horizontal free standing water tanks. A 3200 gallon tank would be $7800 and a 2500 gallon would be $6900. The board will continue to look at pricing.

Four trophies will be ordered for the Demolition Derbv.

Treasurer’s Report
The Treasurer’s Report was presented for discussion and review. A motion and second to approve pending bills. Motion carried.

Old Business
Business radio licensing needs to be renewed prior to May 2023. Acall on this to confirm the number of radio frequencies prior to making payment.
Discussion was held on adding additional insurance for the catwalk extension since it has been extended over the entrance to the track. The board agreed to insure the catwalk for $60,000. The insurance company will be contacted to discuss premium cost of addition equipment based on replacement value.

Catwalk is almost complete. The steps need to be moved to the new entrance and will be done at 5:00 pm on Wednesday, June 29th.

If there are any instances of any debris being tossed on cars as they enter the track, those individuals will be removed from the race and their drivers will be removed as well.
Turn Nodak Pink raised a total of $1158 from the push up challenge

New Business
Hotel rooms have been reserved for the Mod Tour. John Gartner will receive email with the confirmation numbers for each individual.

A post will be made promoting the July 4th race. Admission is free for kids under the age of 13. There are several events planned for the evening. A total of $1158 was raised from the push up challenge.

Nodak Racing will be participating in the State Fair parade. Our number is 55 and line up time is 8:30 am on Saturday, July 23rd.

Contacted Mike Wiest at Wilbur Ellis in Sawyer for a price on water tanks. A 3000 gallon horizontal tank with a baffle kit would be $9100. An alternative would be three 1550 gallon water tanks for $4500. Waiting for a quote. Discussion will be ongoing to find the best solution for the tank replacement.

Claim issue from last Sunday’s race was refused and the $1000 fine that was imposed will go to IMCA.

Treasurer’s Report

The Treasurer’s Report was presented for discussion and review. A motion to approve pending bills. Motion carried.

Old Business

Brandon will put together the numbers from the push up fundraiser and shirt sales to ascertain the amount to be given to Trinity Health Foundation Cancer Center.

Discussion was held for changing the format for Hobby Stock qualifying on the July 4th race. Format would be a time trial/King of the Hill feature with top qualifiers earning additional money. This format was used on the Topless night and it went over well. Motion made and second by to run this format with double purse and a $20 entry fee. Motion carried. Brandon checked with IMCA and this would be a sanctioned race.

Catwalk is 80% complete. Mike from Security Fence will be giving us material to complete the project. The staircase will be moved to be attached on Wednesday, June 29th and Jeff asked for help to get this done. Security Fence will then need to come in to move the gate to the staircase. 

New Business

Motion and second to donate $5000 to the Minot Fireworks Association for the fireworks display after the July 4th race. Motion carried.

Water Truck and Fire Truck

The pump on the water truck is now fixed.

The clutch may need to be adjusted on the big water truck.

The tank that was going to be purchased for the fire truck was sold but another tank was found for $300 more and will be purchased.

Hall of Fame

The VFW volunteered at the 50/50 booth with a verbal agreement that the earnings for that evening would be donated. A check for $329 will be made out to the VFW District 3.

So far, $1583 has been generated from the 50/50 booth. This amount includes the donation to the VFW.

The HOF committee would like to induct the 2021 inductees on Saturday, September 3rd during the race intermission.

The HOF’s first advancement would be a Wall of Hall of Famers under the grandstand. Brandon will have to meet with the state fair to work out details.

Fan voting is now up and running. Voting closes on Saturday, July 2nd at 11:59 pm.

The HOF Committee vote for the 2022 inductees has been tentatively scheduled for Thursday, July 7th at 7:00 pm.

Hudson Hooker’s suspension has ended and he is now on probation for the remainder of the race season.

Kids Day sponsored by Nodak Racing will be held Saturday, June 18th at High Air Ground from 11:00-3:00.

Catwalk needs to be completed prior to the State Fair.

New Business

Billy Gunderson Family would like to donate items to give away during intermission at the July 4th race.

Motion made and second to admit kids under the age of 13 free of charge for the July 4th race. Motion carried.

Mod Tour National Anthem singer.

Jeff suggested that we use the Air Base Honor Guard and the singer will be also be from the Air Force.

Designated areas will be mapped out for the hot pits.

VFW did a 50/50 and raised $329.

Trophy’s figured out for this weekend.  Brandon is providing hobby and sportMod trophies

We will hand out Stock Car championship trophies this Sunday. 

Discussed track conditions.  Several complaints about rocks and hard chunks of dirt.  People sent pictures of helmets and bruises.  Drivers said they won’t come back to a track like that.
